About Me
Nisean Castillo currently works as a Lead Software Engineer for Travelport – a company that provides specialized solutions for the global travel and tourism industry. Nisean is a software engineering enthusiast and entrepreneur who has designed, developed, and implemented several software solutions for various enterprises in Belize, both in the private and public sector.
Nisean currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering with a concentration in software development.
Nisean is a proud father and husband (spouse: Darina Castillo).
Why did I decide to join this cause?
Growing up in Belize, I have seen countless bright, ambitious, and promising children sadly place their dreams and aspirations aside simply because their families could not financially support their educational needs. Having once been a scholarship recipient myself, I know first-hand how difficult my life would’ve been had it not been for the financial assistance of my scholarship. I want to help open doors and support these kids to reach their fullest potential.
